Honestly, one of the chunkiest stones we’ve ever wrapped, this star ruby cabochon sports a copper frame of 4 square wires and features a woven bail and woven base. This particular stone is shaped and polished to be a little lighter on the asterism (the “star” effect) in order to retain more of the color – the more rounded and polished you go, the more washed out the color gets – this stone settles into a happy medium, flashing shades or deep red and purple, depending on the lighting and angle. Includes a copper chain.
